Sarah Davies-Goff asks 20 independent presses which books will make the headlines in 2016 and I’m absolutely thrilled that Bodies of Water, due out from Salt Publishing in May, is highlighted along with fellow Salt writer Wyl Menmuir for his novel The Many. I’m also delighted that fellow Saari resident Hassan Blasim gets a mention for his edited anthology Iraq + 100 from Comma Press, which includes the voices of the contemporary Iraqi science-fiction community, imagining Iraq a hundred years from the American and British-led invasions.
